Our purpose
EmpowHER Kenya aims to build personal
development and a sustainable income revenue for women including those with
disabilities through access to financial institutions, education, and
trainings.
EmpowHER Kenya Foundation is a foundation which focuses on empowerment of women (including women with disabilities) to become financial independent (through income generating activities, micro enterprises and learning new skills) and have a sustainable livelihood within their communities. When women have the access to income, able to participate in social and cultural institutions within the society, they feel empowered and have the power to make decisions on issues affecting them on daily basis. EmpowHER Kenya will focus its activities mainly among underserved women including those with disabilities in Kenya.
We now have a pilot project to help assess the immediate needs for economic empowerment among women and women with disabilities.

We want to create an environment where women and are economically and socially empowered to grow and develop to their full potential.
Our projects aims to create self reliance financial capabilities where every women including those with disabilities can reach out for jobs, education and entrepreneurial skills.

Payment Policy
Stichting EmpowHER Kenya works with a permanent group of volunteers. Certain activities requires funds and has costs. Funds/costs are determined in consultation and consultation with the board, taking into account the nature, content and weight of the activity.
